Park Board Responds to Nature Call
Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation staff has indicated that they have heard overwhelming public support for the natural restoration of Jericho Beach and are going back to the drawing board to evolve their concept plan for the site accordingly. 
The new concept will also recognize safe public recreational ocean access as an important consideration. Thank you to all of the people who have participated in the public consultation process to date. The revised concept plan is expected to be presented at a public meeting sometime in May. We will continue to monitor this situation and keep Jericho Sailing Centre users informed through “in the wind”.
