 Everyone Welcome!
08-26-15-06

As Vazzy, Suzanne Leclerc and Bryn Wilkin bring us original compositions and refreshing arrangements of toe-tapping tunes from the French-Canadian, Métis and Canadian fiddle Vazzytraditions.  Originally, from northern New Brunswick, Suzanne sings catchy, re-imagined traditional songs from her Acadian and Québécois roots.   A one-person rhythm section,Suzanne drives the beat by means of foot percussion, harmonica, jaws harp, bodhrán, doumbek, spoons and tambourine.  To support their original arrangements of songs and ballads, Bryn brings to life various stringed instruments including fiddle, tenor banjo and multi-oud.  Vazzy is one of the nominees for Best Francophone Album at this year’s Western Canadian Music Awards.
