The City of Vancouver is asking for your help to document king tides and rising sea levels this December & January to test their flood prediction models.
Follow these three easy steps to help:
- Visit their sea level rise StoryMap to find out the daily times of high tide and recommended locations to take photos.
- From January 2-7, head to the water and snap photos of the shoreline with your phone or digital camera.
- Upload your photos on the StoryMap to provide the City with critical information to improve their understanding of sea level rise. If you have access to a data-enabled phone, you can upload photos immediately through your browser.
