Fraser Union is Barry Truter, Kathy Griffin, Roger Holdstock and Henk Piket.
Fraser Union first formed in 1983 and has been evolving ever since, but they still perform and record songs that have meaning to them and their audiences.
Their strong voices present some songs a cappella and others accompanied by a variety of instruments including guitars, mandolins, dobro and banjo. They’ve performed at the Filberg Festival, ArtsWells Festival, Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Vancouver Island MusicFest, Seattle Folklife Festival, Islands Folk Festival, Mayworks, Winter Roots Festival, the National Conference of Teachers of English, the Working Knowledge Conference at UBC, and countless benefits and coffee houses.
