Snow Load on Tarps Requires Extra Boat Checks

No doubt, when you were tucking your boat in for the winter last fall you hadn’t envisioned the extraordinary accumulation of snow in Vancouver last week. Many tarps and boat covers were disturbed by the extra weight and need to be adjusted to protect your craft from collecting rain water which could then freeze and cause easily preventable damage. Please check your boat regularly, particularly after snow falls and extreme weather events. Take care of your trusty wave steed in the winter and she’ll take good care of you when you’re riding the briny in warmer weather.
