One at the end of June to celebrate Pride Month (in memory of the Stonewall Uprisings) and one in early August for Vancouver Pride Week! \nJoin us and other LGBTQ2SAI+ identifying folks for a relaxed 2h paddle from Jericho Beach. There is no previous kayaking experience required. Our guides will make sure everybody is comfortable in their kayaks and on the water. One at the end of June to celebrate Pride Month (in memory of the Stonewall Uprisings) and one in early August for Vancouver Pride Week! \nJoin us and other LGBTQ2SAI+ identifying folks for a relaxed 2h paddle from Jericho Beach. There is no previous kayaking experience required. Our guides will make sure everybody is comfortable in their kayaks and on the water. DESCRIPTION:Do you want to paddle together with others? Connect with other paddlers? Exchange ideas\, experience\, tips and tricks? Socialize and make new friends? \nJoin us each Friday evening for our Jericho Social Paddle. \nAnybody (16+) and all genders are welcome. Most paddlers have some experience but newcomers are very welcome. \nThis is a paid event put on by Jericho Beach Kayak Centre and is open to the public. The Social Paddle fills up quickly so we recommend registering right when it opens. You must be registered for the Social Paddle in order to join the group. Renters cannot join the group on the water. \nDiscounted kayak rental rates are in effect for these events. BYO kayak rates also available. All participants must register. \nRegistration opens on a rolling basis on Sundays at 10am for the following Friday. \nMore info and registration here.
