SUMMARY:2025 ILCA Pacific Coast Masters Championships
DESCRIPTION:The local ILCA fleet along with the JSCA is proud to host the 2025 ILCA (International Laser Class Association) Pacific Coast Masters Championships. Clinic on Friday July 4 (click here to learn more about the clinic). Racing July 5 and 6. \nThis event is available to all ILCA sailors 30 years of age and older. As this is a masters event there are the following age categories: 30-44 Apprentice 45-54 Master 55-64 Grand Master 65-74 Great Grand Master 75+ Legend Scoring considerations are made for older sailors to even out the competition. \nThis is a two day regatta with\, an optional clinic on the Friday\, a regatta meal included for all sailors and volunteers on the Saturday evening\, prizes for the top sailors and draw prizes for all participants and volunteers. \nFor those who are unfamiliar with the Jericho Sailing Centre\, here is a link to a video showcasing our facility and common activity at the Centre. SUMMARY:2025 Canadian Fireball Championships
DESCRIPTION:JSCA in collaboration with the Canadian Fireball Association is proud to host the 2025 Fireball Canadian Championships!  \nThis is a three day regatta with racing starting Saturday June 28th and ending Monday June 30th. There will be a regatta meal Saturday and Pizza on the beach Sunday after racing. \nThe first 15 boats to register will receive a small hand-made memento wooden boat. Registration fees are $155 before June 15 and $175 if paid between June 15 and the event.  \nNote that participants must join the Canadian fireball association to compete (only $35 for participant\, $50 for participant and boat). You can join the association following the link here: https://www.fireball-international.ca/membership/ \nFor accommodations\, check out the options below. We recommend booking early as this is a busy weekend in Vancouver and places book up fast.
