DESCRIPTION:Informal racing series for Jericho style sail powered craft in English Bay. First signal at 1230H. Free of charge to members. Guests pay the JSCA day launch fee of $10/day. Only registered competitors will be scored therefore competitors are encouraged to register. Registration and scoring are available at jracing.org. \nFor those sailors using club boats and are unsure of their sail number before racing begins\, registration can happen both before and after the event. \nStarting practice\nWe will be running starting practices on four Sundays this season. On May 10\, June 14\, July 5 and August 2. Albatross will be in position at noon (1200H) and will run practice start sequences using a unique “practice” class flag continuously from noon. \nFirst signal on May 3 and June 28 will be at 1300H due to marathon style running events that will limit access to the facility in the morning. \nNotice of Race and Sailing Instructions will be posted closer to the date.
