DESCRIPTION:Women on Water is a wonderful event where each Tuesday evening throughout the summer women (and female-identifying folks)  who are 16+ of all paddling abilities come together for a relaxed\, semi-guided paddle. \n“Women on Water” is inclusive and welcomes (but is not limited to): cis-gender women\, nonbinary folks\, transgender women\, 2-spirited folks\, those who are exploring or do not conform to gender identity\, and those who feel safe and included in our space. \nRegistration opens on a rolling basis on Wednesdays at 8am for the following Tuesday at this link. \nWOW fills up quickly so we recommend registering right when it opens. You must be registered for WOW in order to join the group. Renters cannot join the group on the water \nNew 2023: We are now offering Sliding Scale Pricing and Scholarship Fund contributions

Most paddlers have some experience but newcomers are very welcome. \nThis is a paid event put on by Jericho Beach Kayak Centre and is open to the public. The Social Paddle fills up quickly so we recommend registering right when it opens. You must be registered for the Social Paddle in order to join the group. Renters cannot join the group on the water. \nDiscounted kayak rental rates are in effect for these events.
