At this meeting, we review our previous year’s events and preview our coming year’s events, setting the dates for next year’s event schedule. We will also be looking at alternate scoring systems for our Penguin Cup, Tuesday and Sunday sail racing series. We encourage representatives from all of our racing fleets and groups both paddle and sail to attend.

A working group has been examining alternate scoring systems for our sailing series since January. Richard Spencer has modeled a few scoring system options at jracing.org and will be introducing the different models at the meeting. Please take the time to visit jracing.org to see how these work for yourself. This potential change will have a significant impact on how racing is scored and how we determine series winners going forward.
